What Is the UK ETA and Why Do Swedish Citizens Need It?<\/h2>\n

The UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) is a digital entry permission introduced by the UK Government as part of its new border security strategy. Since 2 April 2025, all Swedish nationals must hold an approved ETA before travelling to the United Kingdom. This applies whether you are visiting for tourism, business meetings, short-term study, or transit through the UK.<\/p>\n
